A master suite isn’t just a bedroom and bath. It’s a unique, personal space that exemplifies the style of the homeowner while maximizing privacy and functionality to create the ideal living area to enjoy. Master suites vary in size, but the most beautiful and successful designs all have the same thing in common: they provide homeowners with a comfortable space to rest and relax.
High Ceilings & Luxurious Amenities
In this design, high ceilings add a sense of grandeur to the space, while luxurious amenities fit the homeowner’s lifestyle and establish the master suite as a retreat. The large bathroom exhibits tasteful tile embellishment and earthy tones. A waterfall shower mimics the feel of an upscale spa, while his and her sinks increase efficiency and functionality.
Access to the Outdoor Living Space
Homeowners should be able to enjoy their outdoor space, especially if the landscape is well-maintained and inviting. In this design, the master suite is built with easy accessibility to the porch or deck. Large windows allow homeowners to enjoy a view of the outdoors from the comfort of their bed, while an open sitting area creates a comfortable and private place to relax.
His & Hers Master Suite
Many couples need their own space to unwind and pamper themselves after a long day. This design doesn’t divide the room in half, but it allows couples the privacy they need to bathe or relax. This design provides separate dressing rooms, a his and her master bath, and a private study.
The Grand Master Suite
For some homeowners, the master suite needs to be large and lavish. This design displays a grand bathroom with room enough for a vanity, separate wardrobes, a jacuzzi, and a multi-jet shower. The suite is large enough to provide privacy for both spouses, but it also has an area where the two can relax together and enjoy one another’s company. French doors open up to the pool or outdoor living space.
The Cossentino Touch
Pictured throughout this blog is a project completed by the Cossentino & Sons team! The original bathroom was nice but outdated, so the client wanted a modern upgrade. Clawfoot bathtubs are a must-have in an elegant master bath such as this. The Robern Uplift cabinets provide beauty and functionality, and the entertainment center allows the homeowner to relax and enjoy the comforts of their space.
